Tied The Leader: Gunslingers

This week we’re pleased to present an interview with DigitalDren for your reading enjoyment – and apparently some kids just never quite seem to grow up. Dren’s one of those folks hanging out in the “I never wanna grow up” crowd.

Pony: dren.

DigitalDren: Hey
Pony: what are you up to…?
Pony: anything important?
DigitalDren: Not much, just clearing space on my 360.
Pony: excellent. i read that as “i’m doing nothing more important than a gunslinger spotlight interview”
Pony: whadya think?
DigitalDren: Cool, yeah.
Pony: MONEY.
Pony: sweet. let’s get it on.
Pony: (platonically)
DigitalDren: Aww. ;-)
Pony: lead off question. where did you scrounge up a sweet gamertag like that?
DigitalDren: It has evolved through out the years. First starting out as DigitalBurn. Then as I found out it was being taken more and more, I changed the Burn to Dren. (Nerd backwards.) Then when I was given my gun belt, I dropped the Digital for TTL.
Pony: Dren sounds sooo much cooler than nerd.
Pony: cause
Pony: y’know
DigitalDren: I know. :-)
Pony: how did you happen to meet up with the gunslingers and tied the leader?
DigitalDren: Well I first hear about the Clan from the guys over at Podtacular. Deej was guest host and was and was saying how great the clan was.
DigitalDren: I was having so much trouble finding good players to play with. So I ran over to the site, and applied.
DigitalDren: And well the rest is history.
Pony: Deej’s voice is quite alluring, it’s just tough to say no.
DigitalDren: You know it. :-)
Pony: how about outside of the Haloverse… if you don’t mind me digging. what else takes up your time?
Pony: job? activities? mind-numbing banter?
DigitalDren: Well as it is now, my job has blended the line between my hobby. I have always been big in to LEGO sets. As I got older I starting doing model railroading with LEGO Trains.
DigitalDren: Just a month ago I got a job at the local LEGO store. So now my job supports my habit.
DigitalDren: At the end of this month I am helping with BrickFest. Which is the largest Expo of LEGO models from Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs).
