In recent activities, the Gunslingers played host to a fine group of fellows in the 9th Player. They are fearsome and ruthless. The games were set and the time was right to make the night a blast for everyone.
While the Gunslingers herded names up like UtopiaUnknown, TTL Bunny, TTL Ranger, TTL Fate, TTL Tortacular, and TTL zuez patter. The big players that the 9th people brought to us go by DR RIC0, D3FA1T0030, T9P Sprechdog, CordedPhoebe, Rock n Malakai, and TurgidReflex. So as you can see, the players were all ready!
With some confusion in the maps and not having the download maps, some of the games had to be improvised as to where they would be, but it came under control.
Game one: Crazy Lowhill on The Pit
The game became pretty lopsided when the 9th player team found the turrets on the snipe towers provided the best cover for the hills in the valley in front of each base. T9P wins 50 - 9…
Game two: Multi-Flag on Valhalla
Control of the top middle and an unyielding banshee gave T9P the upper hand the entire game and they let TTL slip by with a run away cap but to no avail. T9P wins 2 - 1…
Game three: Some crazy Multi-Flag custom(snipers and shotties) on Last Resort
Sheer knowledge of what was happening in the first few rounds got T9P their scores and left TTL on their heels, T9P wins 3 - 1…
Game Four: Multi-Flag on The Pit
Yes, The Pit got revisited. It was for sake of the game. Pure killing power held TTL at bay and T9P takes it home. 3 - 1…
Due to time constraints for some players and map mishaps, we only played four games for this challenge. I know, a weird number. But do you really need a fifth game to see that the 9th Player mopped the floor with TTL? I don’t think so!
Great job to the great community that the 9th Player has built up and a thank ya goes out to them. There will be other events in the TTL v. T9P future, I can see it!
